Hmmm
Well it has taken me a bit to wrap my head around this but my news is quite happy news, and suprisingly pleaseing to any of those among you who know me well enough to usually regard my feelings on this subject.
I have been trying to figure out a lot of things and one of those was the best way to just kind of throw this information out there.
Well I guess I shall just blurt it all out for the world to know and then you can all be happy and excited and a bit dism ayed and shocked as these are all the things I have been. I am going to be having a baby!
I know that seems really weird and believe me it feels weird to say...this is a bti of a shock. This is totally unplanned and in fact I have been taking precautions against such things happeining but somehow it appears that I fall into that .01% category. As many of you might know although I am seeing someone I am not in a serious relationship at the moment, so I suppose that makes things a bit more awkward. But I have decided as I am not getting any younger that what the hell, and in the end I think I am making the correct choice for me.
This affects my future some but not overyl quite as drastically I guess as I first supposed. I am going to be staying in and finishing school. I have a huge amount of support from the family of the father which is wonderful and will be making all of this very easy as well as allowing me to still be able to have me time and such. My family as well is also being very supportive. So over all I am happy and I have really now just been pondering over how and when to tell my friends that are scattered throughout the world.
So anyone got name suggestions? In canada they are not allowed to tell you the sex of the baby ahead of time soo I could use both. I voted for Chupachabra but it appears that the allusion to goat sucking is probably note the best for a kid. ;)
Ohh and I totally think that Gar should get me for mothers day coming up an entry into the Conan beta! ;)
Really that is all I can think of to say atm. I have been making lots of preperations on this end...through the morning sickness.

| Good News and Very bad News |

Hello all! Yes again I have been bad and not posted in a long time.
Well to start i shall relate the good news. I have been accepted to Dalhousie University here in Canada! This is awesome as it is a really good school and offers some really fun stuff. I was accepted into the program I wanted as well which is in Theatre Arts and is Costume Studies. So it will be combining two things I love history and fashion, yay! I start in a week.
The bad news now.
Yesterday my mother was diagnosed with Breast cancer. At the moment things are pretty sketchy and all so we are not exactly sure what the future is going to hold in that respect. She is going in for surgery today. I am hoping to hear this evening on how that will be going. This also sadly relates to my schooling. If my mother gets pretty bad I will not be able to go to school as her husband is being layed off at work and she will also be out of work. So I am gonna have to go home and work to help support them. I am really worried for my mum. :(
Well that is my news. I wish it was a bit better. I am sorry I have not been online lately for those who have been looking for me. I was pretty sick for awhile and the with getting ready for school, and well now this. Aaargh! Oh well.

| Still Alive! I think? |

Ok it has been a dogs age since i posted. So for the Wandizzle update of your dreams to commence I shall put on my happy hat and type away!

Ok well yes I made it to the states. I had a grand time galavanting about and visiting with many people and stuff. THings such as sea shanties, skinny dipping,drinking, parties, a bit of geekery, and shoping where to be had by all! Then I went on a holiday to Halifax Nova Scotia to vist long time Friend Andrew Aulenback (remebered by ling players s the maniacal Dr. Fyne and the anst ling in charge of the horrific gnome plot in Canadia). While there I was convinced that my need to avoid being in the US for too long a period of time could easily be remidied by moving there. I went home wth these thoughts on my mind and a coupe of weeks later when I did notice I had developed a rash from being in the states too long (well at least that is what Andrew told me the rash was from but I am looking to make sure he does not itch too much too)so I packed uo me and my cats and headed North of the border.
So now I am In Halifax! Yay! I have been running around like a mad womn mostly doing stuff for the local maritime museum. I gets to be a pirate and other fun things at local and national renactments. I just most recetly got to help kick the French out of Louisburg as a member of the HMS Superbe. Fun and good times and everyone should be jealous of my awesome life! Well except maybe Jackie, Sadhbh, and Gar since they are in OZ and equally being Rockstar too!
I shall post more frequently now that i am near a computer a bit more. The internet goat is getting a real wrokout today. Maybe we will upgrade to an oxen soon.

| Alive! |

Hello all!
Yes I am alive. Not even in the airplane crash cannibalism movie sense but actually alive nad kicking here in the States. I have officailly become a turncoat and become a Yank again.
SO this week so far has shown me every reason why a nearly thirty year old woman should not be living at home. I have been trapped! My car about a week from being ready and returned to me makes even going to the shop a near impossiblity. This weekend I have use of a car though so I am at least not trapped here by myself. Since the Fam is away.
So any stateside friends who want to hang out get in touch with me as I have wheels and know how to use them, even if I do get a bit confused about which side of the road they should be on. ;)
Well I shall be on again soon to give you all the brief little glimpses into my life that make you all so fond of me, or at lest like me enough to stifle the groaning noises when I walk into the room. |

| Too Posh 4 U! |

Hola all!
Well It is a fact. The settlement from my divorce is here and in my account! Yay! So now that I have all this new found wealth I would like to take people to dinner.
I am off to the Cam meeting in other Relams tonight at 7. I figure dinner around 8 or 8:30. So anyone who would like to join in on the celebration with me as food is on me please meet me at other realms around that time.
I have to say that the elation and thrill to knowing that a very sad and trying time in my life is finally over and done with. I will never regret my past but at least I can learn from it.
Those who have been my friends thorugh thick and thin are worth the world to me and are more precious than anything on earth. You have stayed by me through all of the lies that have been spread, you have comforted me when I was sad. You have supported me when I everything so dark I could not possibly find my way alone. I love all of you for knowing me and although i am quiet about the things that upset me and refused to say a word against those that talked against me all of you understood. Thank you! You love and friendship is more than most people deserve. I hope that I can always be the person that is worthy of it and that I can as well reflect it back upon you.
I look forward to seeing old friends soon and am very sad at the loss of regular contact with those close to me now. You are all so wonderful.

| Fun Stuff! |

Today was really tiring.
I got out of bed really early because my mom was yelling at me.
I feel sad, because Sarah and Britney are complete bitches. They told everyone I have an STD, just because I slept with both of their boyfriends on Saturday night.
I'm so hardcore. Me and Buzz went to the mall today, and I stole a whole heap of stuff. I got a Good Charlotte CD, a couple of DVDs and some new boots. Buzz got caught, but he fought his way out, and then we stole some lady's car and smashed it into a phone booth.

I went to the doctor yesterday, and he said I have a terrible skin disease which prevents me from coming into contact with other human beings. And bipolar disorder.

Hey everyone
Well there is sadness for me and possibly all those on this Irish side of the worlld. I am going to be moving back to the states on the thirty of this month it appears.
I have to day thank you to everyone who has been my friend through this very tough and trying year plus.
I am leaving due to some personal reasons and difficulties with my job.
I will be missing ton of people and I hope to not only keep in touch with you but visit as well. Also feel free once i have a place to come stateside anytime. I am still VIP for Gaelcon and plan on touring Europe at the end of the year so I will most likely be back for a vist in the end of October.
I know that it is a long time to go with out me but sadly the world will still turn no matter how dark it may seem without my preseence to light the way.
For all of you North AMericaners out there reading this you will all be delighted I am sure by my return.
I hope to see many of you soon and you Canadians shall not be forgotten in that statement. So yeah! That is my news folks. |

Well yes it is about God damn time I finally put something on my LJ. Well here it is. I wonder how long it will take people to notice.
Well not much to say today as it is late and I am completely nackered.
But I did it! Ha to all those doubters out there!
NOw I just gotta do something with this.
Oh update on crazyness today was filled with horror as local druggie Willis flipped out and has decided that his lifes problems are my fault. So besides verbal abuse I have dealt with threats of physical violence all day. Great!
